Pizza was super delicious and authentic. Owners were super nice and the pizza was ready so fast it was hard to believe.

I consider myself somewhat of a pizza aficionado... And I've tried pretty much every pizza joint in Austin north and south.
The best pizza I've ever had in the world was in Florence Italy at a little shop called Gusta pizza. But I've never found anything close in Austin. Until yesterday, when we tried Agostino's pizza, a new food truck at Pond Springs and Anderson Mill.
Cooked in a 900° wood fired oven in 3 or 4 minutes, these pizzas are close to perfection... a little bit of char around the edges; a thin (organic) crust perfectly crisp in the best way; fresh ingredients; house made sausage; and a fifth generation Sicilian pizza maker/proprietor make Agostino's the best place in Austin to get authentic pizza like they make in Italy.
I expect to return often.
If you haven't tried Agostino's yet, you are missing something very special. -

Prob the best drunk / late night pizza I've ever had. The dough tastes Smokey, the cheese melts the way cheese on pizza should, and the pepperoni is perfectly crispy. Worth a shot -- drunk or not.

Every once in awhile you meet a genius. Augustino has labored to transport the best pieces of southern Italy to our doorstep. The chillies. The sausage. The flour. The WATER even. The pizzas are not just good. They are a true delight. Embrace excellence in embassy to the old world. You will thank me.

Took my young boys here twice and both times they devoured 3-4 slices of pepperoni pizza. My favorite was the picante pizza. I don't know what's different in their dough but it just taste like a little more soul.
